Former Call of Duty 4 and MW2 lead designer rejoins Infinity Ward

4.7
It looks like former Call of Duty lead designer Todd Alderman has returned to Activision's Infinity Ward studio. You may recall that Alderman was one of 38 members of the "Infinity Ward Employee Group" who sued Activision in early 2010 for $75 - $125 million for unpaid bonuses the group claimed it was owed for work on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2.

Alderman later joined Infinity Ward co-founders Jason West and Vince Zampella at their new studio, Titanfall maker Respawn. Alderman left the studio in 2012. His most recent stint was as a designer at League of Legends maker Riot Games.

according to a Polygon report, Alderman has rejoined Infinity Ward as its new project director and all the ill will between him and Activision has dissipated.

Alderman was lead designer on Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2 and left the company in 2010. Shortly thereafter he joined the then-newly formed Respawn Entertainment.

Could it be a remaster of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare 2? A petition to remake the fan-favorite CoD game recently gained a lot of traction on change.org, but unfortunately fan petitions don't always make it to the top of management, even if the number of signatures now exceeds 160,000.

Gama Yes, this could lead to better and funner games and might bring MW2 back... There's also a petition too to bring MW2 to New Gen (Xbox, PS4)

The petitions isn't going to be passed probably, they don't have time to work on an old game.

MW2 was one of the greats so hopefully the next IW game is good.

If they were to make anything like a COD4 remake I'd be ecstatic!

Mw2 gameplay was the smoothest out of all the CoDs

especially dying right off the bat due to spawn-tubes. so "smooth"

This.

MW2 would be a lot better if they got rid of one man army, or if they just added invisible barriers where the tubes fly at spawn. Or, they could delay explosives.

Seed Glad to hear this. I feel MW2 and Cod 4 were a bit more superior to the new call of dutys in my opinion.

They were because it was much simpler than it is now.
All they care about is how good the graphics look when in reality we just great gameplay
