GTA V PC launch delayed to April 14th

4.6
Grand Theft Auto V for PC will be arriving on April 14th as announced by Rockstar Games today. The PC launch was originally dated for January 27th before a delayed that was pushed to March 24th. This delay is to "ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC." Anyone who pre-ordered the game will be getting an additional $200,000 for use in GTA Online.

"GTAV for PC will be arriving on April 14th at retail and as a digital download. Our apologies to PC gamers worldwide who have been counting down the days until the launch of the game, but a bit more time is needed to ensure that the game is as polished as possible, and to make certain that both Heists and the GTA Online experience are ready to roll out on day one for PC. As a gesture of thanks for your understanding, we will grant anyone who has pre-ordered the game an additional $200,000 in-game cash for use in GTA Online." - Rockstar Games

Miss People should not be complaining about this at all, especially if you've spent $800+ on a PC. I'd definitely want the game to be as near perfect as possible if I spent that kind of money.

I don't think you understand.

Heists were one of the biggest thing advertised before the game even came out (512 days ago). They sold around $40,000,000 in the first ten days. Evidently it takes a company that's been working in the game industry before 3D gaming even came out around a year and a half to complete this.

40 MILL IN 10 DAYS. Not only could that hire enough people to do it faster, but they're still earning money. Don't set a release date for a game if it's not going to be ready in the time you specified. Especially 3 times.

Rockstar is incapable of handling a big title game, delay after delay. Remember when heists was promised almost two years ago. Remember that horrible gta online release, what a disaster that was. Remember those dns servers, gta online was broken for a good two weeks. Shameful company.

I'll look forward to playing this game with my grand-children in 2070.

Beet Probably to get the bs DRM ready. Look most of us pc gamers are just gonna wait 2 months anyways for a steam sale because we dont want to pay full price for a 2 year old game.

It's to make it run better. Are you really gonna bitch about everything they do? Do you HONESTLY want them to release another GTA IV? You're not entitled to shit, just like the rest of us.

I guess I can wait to the 14th, but the cash will be pointless when people start modding and cheating.
