Tony Hawk Valentine new Pro Skater happening this year

A new Tony Hawk Pro Skater console game is happening this year.

I know, I know, that’s not news – Hawk mentioned it last year and it was confirmed during Sony’s CES 2015 keynote.

But we’ve not heard any details of the project since then. We don’t know who’s publishing it. We don’t know who’s developing it. We don’t know if it’s coming to disc or digital distribution. We don’t know what platforms it will release on.

In that context, we’ll take any affirmation we can get that this project is a real thing. For example, this valentine’s Day greeting from Hawk himself:

This image is of a widely shared Tumblr post which has been doing the rounds for quite a while now, and you can imagine how tickled Hawk must have been to learn of its existence.

I LOVED these games! its in the playstation section, hopefullly released on xbox, i remember playing ALL these games, i loved the one with the mardi gras level and there was also a level with sasquach on it i believe it was underground 2. loved the playstation till i switched wen the 360 came out lol...still on microsoft, thinking about buying a ps4 tho, any thoughts?

I played these a lot as a kid very fun spent a ton of time on them especially the one with the cheat code "WatchmeExplode"

Tony Hawk's Underground is my favorite Tony Hawk game of all time. The story is surprisingly good considering that Tony Hawk games aren't very known for their stories.
