Treyarch is teasing something to do with Zombies

4.6
Call of Duty: Black Ops and Black Ops 2 developer Treyarch is teasing some sort of announcement on Wednesday, and it has to do with zombies.

The developer took to Twitter to tease information of a live-stream that will take place this Wednesday, February 4.

As the hashtag reveals, this will be during the DICE summit, which takes place February 3-5. Teyarch was the first studio to bring Zombies mode into Call of Duty with World at War. Since then, it has been staple of Treyarch’s Call of Dut(ies), and most recently, Sledgehammer Games’ Advanced Warfare.

That being said, it would be pretty early for Activision or Treyarch to announce a new Call of Duty game, or even talk about one. Usually, that event is reserved for May. This could be a new spin-off series or just development talk about what the studio will bring with the next installment of Zombies.

At any case, you’ll be the first to know when we have any new information.

The D.I.C.E. summit (stands for Design, Innovate, Communicate, Entertain) is an annual event where several game developers and executives host panels and discuss the production and business sides of the industry. Some publishing deals are known to start there.

Soon enough there will be a complete separate game all for zombies. But since it's a CoD game it will come with 4 maps and then 2 maps per DLC for the price of $15. There will be 5 DLCs also upgrading a gun will be in a DLC so if you want to make it past 20 you will want to pay a $5 DLC charge for that ability.

It would be pretty cool to have something like w@w or one of those old maps to play on again.

I know I'm stating the obvious here, but it definitely has something big to do with zombies.
They tweeted another picture today with a "1" and it says:
"One day to go: Treyarchs Zombies preso tomorrow (10:45am/PDT)"

Hopefully its WAW 2 would love to see that game!

Imagine if they re-released a game for the pc so you can have more functional custom zombie maps compared to waw.

Odds Putting money on it being a game with just all Treyarch zombie maps on it, or atleast that being the main selling point. Thought they'd do that since Black Ops 1. Still, If it's a reasonable price I'll buy it.

Instead of making CoD, they should just make a game more dedicated to Zombies. Imagine playing with 2 teams of six players working together to survive the zombie horde. Or if that's not your taste. What about a game mode like free for all, where the last man standing wins (no revives). So many possibilities.

If it was just a spin off of the regular zombies that would be great!

Hopefully it's like a spinoff series. Loved zombies in WaW, BOPs & BOPs 2. Only thing bothering me is that if it is it's own game then i can't really see where they'd take a campaign, unless it's like before, during and after some sort of outbreak.
