Grand Theft Auto V PC release date moved, specs revealed

4.6
Rockstar Games announced today that they have moved the PC launch of Grand Theft Auto V from January 27th to March 24th.

Rockstar Games released an apology stating the reason why the launch was moved.

"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."

GTA Online for PC will support up to 30 players and will include heists. Rockstar Games also stated that heists for the consoles will be launching in the next couple weeks.

"Online Heists for consoles will be launching in the coming weeks ahead of the PC launch."

Unlucky for the PC gamers, 65GB is huge.

65GB, that would take me about 4 days to download, not even joking either. GTA V will be amazing on PC, hopefully I can get a PC by then...

-Skittle Rockstar are full of crap, they are constantly moving/delaying the release dates of games and patches. Pretty poor if you ask me.

Maybe they want the game to be the best it can be? Crap? nope, they broke several world records in 24 hours lad.

31IT3INV4SI0N My friend bought me a copy via gifted me on Steam I'm so excited! Disappointed about it getting pushed back but eh...

Wow dude, your friend must be awesome.

I know him in real life we still hang out and have lan parties lel. Me and him have known each other since 7th grade so he is pretty awesome. Don't think I'm a freeloader because in return I got me and him a copy of Dying Light on Steam. :)

I wish I had friends like you haha, buying games for each other thats awesome!

Tristana I'm actually not that disappointed that they pushed it back even further, I'd rather wait and get a nice and finished product, instead of them rushing it and leaving bugs etc. just to release it on time.

This is true, but they shouldn't say it was going to be released on Jan 27th if they knew they couldn't make it by then.

Not sure I could support this game seeing R*s seemingly disregard for PC gamers. The game should have been release for PC over a year ago.
