Grand Theft Auto V PC release date moved, specs revealed

4.6
Rockstar Games announced today that they have moved the PC launch of Grand Theft Auto V from January 27th to March 24th.

Rockstar Games released an apology stating the reason why the launch was moved.

"Our apologies for the slight shift in the date but the game requires a few extra weeks of testing and polish to make it as good as can be. Moving a release date is never a decision we take lightly and is a choice we make only when we know it is in the best interests of the game and our fans. Thanks everyone for your understanding and we assure you these few extra weeks will be worth it when the game does arrive in March."

GTA Online for PC will support up to 30 players and will include heists. Rockstar Games also stated that heists for the consoles will be launching in the next couple weeks.

DBK And people say PC Gaming is better, sike...

It is better and it doesn't really have anything to do with consoles or PCs the main problem is Rockstar always delaying release dates first it started of for the heists and now this! It's ridiculous for a big company like Rockstar.

Wait? You're saying you'd rather have a half completed game earlier than a full game later? Come on, how stupid are you? People would have been moaning that the PC version isn't complete - and the console games are better. It's all opinion, just like your fashion sense. If we all agreed on one company, then there would only be one company that made everything! We wouldn't get a choice, we'd be wearing the same clothes, living in the same houses, eating nothing but the same food for our whole lives. This planet is diverse, I swear some of you people don't even deserve the Oxygen that our amazing planet provides for us. It's like I'm one of the only people that speaks after thinking, and actually knows what I'm talking about.

The PC version of GTAV will probably be out before Heists. Anyways, the mods on the PC version of GTAV will be amazing.

You do realize they've shifted the dates around for all but the current-gen consoles, right? And that's only because they had to add in first person. Took them long enough for that..

PC gaming is NOT 'better.' It's a whole new level of gaming, if you have the hardware.

-Brennan I think its funny that when they do release this people will be hacking it like crazy for the first few weeks im sure

You obviously have not played many games on pc. In all honestly i have come across more hackers on console than pc. The main reason is most games have software to find anyone that does. Plus many games have active admins to deal with them. Pc gamers look at mods to enhance a game or make it into a new game. Console gamers look at modders as cheaters because thats what most console mods are for.

The only games that really have hackers are ones where you can't run your own server. Even then they are minimal. Hacking isn't as a much of an issue on pc as it was 2-3 years ago. No one really cares for them anymore.
