Microsoft Store lists The Elder Scrolls Online for February 24 release

4.6
The Microsoft Store has The Elder Scrolls Online down for a February 24 release on Xbox One.

The listing, noticed by Massively, could be a placeholder, but it is rather specific – and on a Tuesday which is when 99% of games are released in North America.

TESO was originally slated to arrive on PS4 and Xbox One in April 2014 alongside the desktop versions.

It was delayed to June 2014 before being pushed into late 2014.

Back in December, game director Matt Firor said the team at ZeniMax Onine was “steadily working” on the console version which was in a “playable and fun” state at the studio.

“There’s still some work to do before we can set an official launch date,” wrote Firor in the director’s letter.

In the letter he reiterated that the console versions of ESO were “not just ports” of the PC and Mac MMO, and that the PC user interface has been replaced with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with “a controller and a living room play experience in mind.”

The MMO was recently pulled from EB Games shelves in Australia.

I'm not going to buy this game unless it goes F2P. Paying a monthly fee on top of XBLG is absurd, I'd rather just have Elder Scrolls 6.

Console I sorry I love TTG and everything but the news here sucks this was posted 22 hours ago and the story itself about 4 days ago and just a day and a half ago Bethesda responded to the article saying they haven't even set a release date yet. I just think the news on here doesn't get update as it should and be quicker. That's all here's a link to the article : http://www.gamespot.com/articles/bethesda-responds-to-elder-scrolls-online-console-/1100-6424596/

It seemed too early of a release date.

Didact This game is a huge flop. The majority will agree with me.

I agree but mmo's are WAY to iffy imo. Some companies get it spot on but a lot of mmo's are terrible. Hopefully the console one will be different and it'll be good but we'll see lol

Star Wars: TOR and Rift are some of my favourites to play. They delve quite deep, and they're free-to-play which is my idea of a great MMO. I was a subscriber of them both, but I don't really have the time to play them as much anymore like I could a few years ago :(
