Microsoft Store lists The Elder Scrolls Online for February 24 release

4.6
The Microsoft Store has The Elder Scrolls Online down for a February 24 release on Xbox One.

The listing, noticed by Massively, could be a placeholder, but it is rather specific – and on a Tuesday which is when 99% of games are released in North America.

TESO was originally slated to arrive on PS4 and Xbox One in April 2014 alongside the desktop versions.

It was delayed to June 2014 before being pushed into late 2014.

Back in December, game director Matt Firor said the team at ZeniMax Onine was “steadily working” on the console version which was in a “playable and fun” state at the studio.

“There’s still some work to do before we can set an official launch date,” wrote Firor in the director’s letter.

In the letter he reiterated that the console versions of ESO were “not just ports” of the PC and Mac MMO, and that the PC user interface has been replaced with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with “a controller and a living room play experience in mind.”

The MMO was recently pulled from EB Games shelves in Australia.

imo MMORPGs aren't right for consoles. The mapping of the controls are much better for PCs, not to mention how Bethesda went about this. I don't agree paying for a game, and then a subscription as well. I mean, the subscription should be optional, with added features if you're buying the game. Otherwise, the game should be free to download, with maybe a month trial and then you have to subscribe there after. Or maybe a level cap of 5, and only one toon being allowed to be made at a time. (So if your subscription runs out, you don't just lose your character, it gets locked until you re-subscribe.)

I might get it but they really need a mmo on the 360

Goob Might check this out but Witcher 3 drops that same week so someone is getting pushed aside.

Didact This game is a huge flop. The majority will agree with me.

I agree but mmo's are WAY to iffy imo. Some companies get it spot on but a lot of mmo's are terrible. Hopefully the console one will be different and it'll be good but we'll see lol

As many of the other users have said, this game is bad. They hype for it died way before it was released for Next Gen. I played this game for a month when it came to PC. Plus beta time. It doesn't play like an Elder Scrolls game. It's basically any other MMO with Elder Scroll esc places. Most of which aren't even accessible.
