Microsoft Store lists The Elder Scrolls Online for February 24 release

4.6
The Microsoft Store has The Elder Scrolls Online down for a February 24 release on Xbox One.

The listing, noticed by Massively, could be a placeholder, but it is rather specific – and on a Tuesday which is when 99% of games are released in North America.

TESO was originally slated to arrive on PS4 and Xbox One in April 2014 alongside the desktop versions.

It was delayed to June 2014 before being pushed into late 2014.

Back in December, game director Matt Firor said the team at ZeniMax Onine was “steadily working” on the console version which was in a “playable and fun” state at the studio.

“There’s still some work to do before we can set an official launch date,” wrote Firor in the director’s letter.

In the letter he reiterated that the console versions of ESO were “not just ports” of the PC and Mac MMO, and that the PC user interface has been replaced with a console-specific UI designed from the ground-up with “a controller and a living room play experience in mind.”

The MMO was recently pulled from EB Games shelves in Australia.

ECW I played the beta didn't really enjoy it wasn't what I expected it to be and what they said it would be. But that's mainly because Bethesda did not work on it they just helped pay for it's expenses. And the fact you need to pay for the game and a subscription is abysmal in my eyes. Should have taken to a World Of Warcraft layout in my opinon.

its pay to play because they dont charge extra for expansions like WoW does. its pay to play and you have to pay for expansions in WoW.

The way I see it, you can have it free with subscriptions, or $60 and should not have subscriptions.
Its probably the fact that it is quite a bit of cash just to play the game.

This game honestly isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be, it's a good MMO in the elder scrolls universe. I have played it on PC its relatively short and needs more content IMO

Miss Game looks so dope. Might have to pick it up when I got the extra cash. But first I'll have to try it out at a friends house.

I agree I have had mixed feelings about this game for sure lol.

I bought it for PC when it first came out. I have lost interest but that is because the lack of friends playing it with me. I am a console player so i am very excited to try it out on console and play with my console friends! Good to finally see a release date hope its correct!
