Sony adds monthly subscription to PlayStation Now

Sony announced that a $19.99 monthly subscription will be added to PlayStation Now, a game streaming service.

PlayStation Now allows owners of a PlayStation 4 to stream PlayStation 3 games to their console. PlayStation Now features over 100 PlayStation 3 titles. If you do not want a monthly subscription, you also have the option of a 3 month subscription at $44.99.

PlayStation Now launches on January 13th.

TDK What about PS2 games? Sorry but this does not impress me . Maybe I missed something and I really hope someone can prove me wrong. Offering all platforms ie PS1 PS2 and PS3 all on the PS4 would be epic and yes I would pay for that service.

This made me think of playing The Simpsons: Hit and Run on the PS2, I would love to play that on the PS4.

If they did that I would go out and buy a PS4 instead of an Xbox One that would be awesome to play the classics like hit and run! :D

Hmm PS3 games. Cool.

I think they kinda dropped the ball on Playstation 1 & 2 games for now.
We'll soon see if they stick to their promises.

With $19.99, I could buy all the games back and keep them, rather than pay for the service, but ok.

You should probably google "Playstation Now" to figure out what the service actually is before you post ignorant statements. You might even end up wishing MS offered a similar service because no one can deny that PS Now is pretty sweet.

I am a Xbox Live member and this looks pretty cool. I can't lie about that!

Why do they keep putting all their future assets in the basket of online access when they obviously refuse to fix their server security and infrastructure? What happens when someone pays for this and they get their servers downed again?
