Hopefully Sony can do the same thing, PSN being down for 3 days was a nightmare.

Monster-Munch I hope they do make the security better like a better ddos security as that's the main problem they have all this money Microsoft have and they should improve it even if it costs millions of dollars as they would make it back as quick as they spend it.

Urg, people like you who don't have a clue about all that but keep commenting about how they should make it better. *FacePalm*

Great news, it's nice to see that after recent events, they'll beef up security and keep the console 'safer' in a way. It would be nice to see CoD in the next year or 2 and see it kept clean of the 12 year olds glitching/modding the game.

Now Microsoft have announced this. Let's see what Sony does to their security/system.

Potion I hope they do make it extremely hard for people to hack and mod, the xbox 360 was ruined by people modding in games like call of duty.

I completely agree, modding should be left to PC users, glitches etc are things that get found exploited and finally repaired but modders are like cancer they ruin everything for a while then finally kill a game. I still think harsher punishments for example HUGE fines that have to be paid if caught modding in excess of $5000 . That would make the little creeps stop. I hope this happens soon because we all hate not getting to play online because some little moron got bored and decided to hack something.

This honestly some great news. It's nice that Microsoft is doing something about the hackers. Makes all the games bad.

I think what Microsoft is doing is a very good thing. They need to get some actual security that isn't able to be bypassed by any 12 year old that knows anything about Java.

Yeah Cornell's computer science department actually sent out an email talking about this. Weird that you posted this :)

I'll be looking into this over the next few weeks.
