Report: UK police arrest Lizard Squad member

4.5
UK police have reportedly arrested a Lizard Squad member Vinnie Omari on Monday. Lizard Squad is notoriously known for the DDoS attacks on Xbox Live and PlayStation Network. Omari was not arrested for the attacks on Xbox Live and PSN, but for stealing from PayPal accounts.

Lizard Squad has not said much on the recent arrest of the member, but has made fun of a security guru, Brian Krebs, who tweeted out a copy of the bail notice.

This arrest comes after Finnish police caught another Lizard Squad member nicknamed "Ryan Clearly."

Here is the tweet from Brian Krebs

970 They should all be taken down for using their abilities in a negative manner and just being dicks. lol

Yeah I would think that their punishment would be like those of other "hackers"(even though thats not what they are)

Banned from using a computer.

More like send them to Iraq and Syria.

About time. They wanted to gain notoriety but they forgot that the more popular of a criminal you become the harder the authorities will look for you.
