Those thinking that the next big thing in gaming is going to be the 3D movement should either reconsider for the time being or start packing for the move. While Microsoft has confirmed that they have partnered with LG to enter the 3D games market, it only applies to the South Korean market… for now.

“The promotional partnership with LG announced in South Korea today is specific to the South Korean market,” said Microsoft’s UK PR department, “but is further evidence that as 3D adoption grows, Xbox 360 will support 3D games and entertainment.”

Microsoft also said that while 3D Xbox 360 games are currently available to those with a 3DTV - Avatar and soon Batman: Arkham Asylum - the games lineup will “continue to evolve.”
