Destiny: The Dark Below PlayStation exclusive content detailed

4.7
PlayStation users will be getting some exclusive content for Destiny's first DLC The Dark Below, which will be out next week. The exclusive content was detailed on the US PlayStation blog.

First thing up is another Strike on Mars called The Undying Mind. As the description describes that "you can step back into the coveted dangers of The Black Garden to face a timeless Vex machine-beast that has survived for ages. Prepare for firefights amidst vine-laden pillars and decaying paths in an effort to destroy the ancient evil."

Next thing up is a new exotic shotgun weapon called The 4th Horseman, which has "four barrels, five shots, and a sizzlingly fast fire rate will eat away at the Vex legions in short order."

As for all users, the new DLC will bring in:
  • New story missions that pit you against a Hive god.
  • New weapons, armor, and gear to further customize your Guardian.
  • The ability to increase your Light level to 32, and five additional bounty slots.
  • Three new competitive multiplayer maps: Pantheon, Skyshock, and The Cauldron.
  • New cooperative Strike: The Will of Crota. Purge a twisted horror from the Cosmodrome.
  • An additional resident of the Tower: Eris, a resolute survivor of an ill-fated mission.
  • And a new six-player Raid: Crota’s End. Face him in the deepest dark.

The Dark Below arrives December 9 on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PlayStation 3, and Xbox 360. The exclusive content will be available to all users next Fall.

Quite Why does ps4 get things before xbox it used to be on cod on xbox u get the dlcs before ps3 xD.

Because Playstation is awesome, its like on Playstation you don't need an install disc which is awesome.

What? PS3, PS4 and XB1 use Blu-ray. Both on the PS4 and XB1, games must be installed before playing. On XB360, there were often two separate discs because they used a DVD drive, and not blu-ray which meant the discs couldn't hold as much information. DVDs can hold up to 8GB of information, Blu-Ray can hold much more which is why the XB1 has a Blu-Ray drive now. But, yes, you still need to install games on PS4 and the XB1 doesn't have several discs for games anymore, like the 360 did.

Am I the only one finding the missions themselves hard?
I play solo and I'm only level 25, doing level 26 missions.
Why do games feel scary alone xD

I remember when I cared about console exclusives, ah back in the good ol' scrub days. Now I don't really care.

WantedToBeLoved-_- why do PS4 get better exclusives :(

Because Xbox screwed over Bungie when they had Halo so Bungie is with Sony now.

Xbox never screwed over Bungie, know your facts. All Microsoft did was buy out the halo series nothing more, I would imagine that Bungie was paid off by Sony in development stages so they are kind of unofficially siding with Sony.
