Which console would survive a 15 ft drop, Xbox One or PS4?

The age old question of which is better, PS4 or Xbox One. This time, the tests have nothing to do with the internal components.

As part of Wire’s Battle Damage, the team attempts to drop both the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One from varying heights to see which one is the sturdiest, and the loser gets the chainsaw treatment.

At first they drop both consoles from a 5 ft height, then they drop them from 15 ft. I won’t spoil the end result here, so give it a watch.

Forget the power disparity between the two consoles, this is what you should be fighting over.

When I read the title, I was thinking Xbox would survive, just because of the fact, that this article is in the Xbox News section. And I was right.

temporaryjohnny Just saying the ps4 landed flat on its side where the xbox one didn't it hit its edges so it didn't do at much harm. But hey I still enjoy the ps4 thats my opinion. You can talk all the reasons how xbox one is better but I'm not switching to the xbox one. Besides I wannt one for some exclusives.


That is incorrect by landing on a small area surface more damage would of been done, its like a the point end of a pin doesn't take much effort to push into something because of its small surface area but the flat end is hard to push into objects because of its larger surface area.

Cancerous So many Xbox fanboys, yeah it did better. It's just a shame it can't even pull off 1080p on most triple A titles.
