Far Cry 4 PC system requirements

4.6
PC players gearing up for the launch of Far Cry 4 in a few weeks will need an Intel Core i5-750 (2.6 GHz) or AMD Phenom II X4 955 (3.2 GHz) processor and 4 GB of memory. The game also required 30 GB of hard drive space and a video card at least as powerful as the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 460 or AMD Radeon HD5850 (1 GB of VRAM).

For optimal performance, Ubisoft recommends either the Intel Core i5-2400S (2.5 GHz) processor or the AMD FX-8350 (4.0 GHz) or better, as well as 8 GB of memory. The game will perform better with at least a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680 or AMD Radeon R9 290X or better video card (with 2 GB of VRAM).

Far Cry 4 will also launch on Xbox One, PS4, Xbox 360 and PS3 in addition to PC on November 18.

SEN Good Job Ubisoft..... To play a $60 Game at high setting we must spend $1000 on a PC!

Nuka I was really hoping to get into PC gaming but the way games are being made now, I'd have to upgrade a lot more than I'd like to :(

It shouldn't really cost that much to upgrade to meet the recommended specs.

90% of you are wrong and have no idea what you're saying. The minimum requirements are actually pretty low-end and you could build a PC with them for ~$300, cheaper than the new gen consoles.

get rekt.

I like how it takes two paragraphs to explain it for PCs and then they say "it will launch on xbox and playstation on November the 18th"

Boo- How can the Nvidia GeForce 680 be compared to the AMD R9 290X? Mind freak much... It would kill the 680 in a second?

If they optimize the game for Nvidia then it will need a higher end AMD card to achieve the same results.

I cannot stand Ubisoft for other reasons. Like Uplay or locking some games to 30fps to make them more "cinematic."
