Hundreds of features have been added to Xbox One in its first year

4.6
Later this month, Xbox One will celebrate its one year anniversary, and Microsoft is marking the occasion by listing the various changes and updates made to the console, many of which were based on user feedback.

As you can see,via Major Nelson’s blog, there have been hundreds of new features added since November 22, 2013 – and the list shows only the “most popular” features.

Here’s some highlights: custom backgrounds (number on fan-requested feature), new friends section and achievements app, Snap updates, mobile purchasing, silent reboot and boot to TV, and more.

If you head through the link, you can also look back over each Xbox One update from February through November.

Microsoft said it remains committed to “continuous innovation” regarding the user’s Xbox One experience.

I throughout the first year have loved all the updates and hope they carry on making this system even better!

GO on microsoft. I love my xbox one.

I still think the invite system for games is way to complicated the need be. Xbox 360 had it perfect and Xbox one just doesn't work as well..

At least parties work better now...

It's $350 if you can't afford that then the struggle is real for you.

I'm in the same position he's in I don't have any of the current gen consoles or even previous gen consoles and I have a very hard time getting money. I simply cannot afford $350 for an Xbox One although I really want one

In the newest update I am in love with the double tap the Xbox button on the controller and then select X to record.

It comes in handy so often.

Love a lot of things they've added, but their's enough of it I most likely won't use.
