Hacker group Lizard Squad reportedly targets CoD, Destiny, EA servers

Hacker group Lizard Squad claims to be responsible for bringing down the servers for a number of Activision and EA games over the weekend.

Destiny and Call of Duty were both seemingly targeted with distributed denial of service attacks, although their online services are now back up and running. Lizard Squad subsequently claimed to have taken down EA servers too.

According to Kotaku, it's the second time this month that Lizard Squad has targeted Activision's popular shooter games.

They get a thrill of making other people angry basically, the more people show they're mad, the more they will do it.

The double post was definitely beneficial.

Kind of a waste of everyone's time who was involved. Lizard Squad also has to be one the bigger jokes of a name i've heard as well. The things hardcore COD skids will come up with.

UnD3aD_Stealth Well i honestly thought it was funny, but i was playing Destiny when they hacked it but i wasnt mad.


It's very frustrating to play a game then you spend either $60 - $100 on and have a bunch of annoying hackers ruin it.
