Minecraft Xbox One is "down to the last few bugs"

4J Studios yesterday announced via its Twitter feed that the long-awaited Xbox One version of Minecraft is in the very last stages of development, and may be with Microsoft for a final sign off by the end of this week.

The developer has spent the majority of August ironing out the kinks across several new versions of the game on next gen platforms - and didn't even get to celebrate when its Twitter account hit 500k followers - bless.

Down to the last few bugs with #MinecraftXbox1 - hoping to hand it over to Microsoft by the end of the week!

But, so long as everything goes according to plan, we could have whole new worlds to conquer and create by mid-September. Don't forget too that you can import save games from either - the Xbox 360 version will be updated soon to enable this.

Ethics I hope they update all of the consoles to the same as pc. Pc version is amazing!

I don't know if it will be the same as PC, you can do so much more on PC

They wont be able to make it the same as the PC but I think it will have a lot of features and they may just bring some other modes out for it like the tekkit one that looks really cool

This is awesome news. I wonder when they update the Minecraft Xbox 360 version for the world update support, if they will add anything new to it. I would really like to see some new biomes personally. It's going to be huge on the One once it comes, too bad most of my friends don't have an Xbox One.
