PSN gets knocked down again

The PlayStation Network servers are currently out of commission for the second time in as many days. Sony posted a notice to its official Twitter account that its engineers are "aware of connectivity issues" and "are working to resolve" them.

PSN suffered an outage for the majority of Sunday thanks to an apparent DDoS attack (distributed denial of service). Sony noted that no personal information was accessed in the attack. Both PSN and Sony Entertainment Network were "impacted by an attempt to overwhelm our network with artificially high traffic," though it's unclear if that's also causing today's issues. We'll update this post when PSN is up and running again.

Update: Sony said that "network connectivity is being restored," and thanks players for their patience.

You'd think a huge company like that, they could surely sort it out?


They always get it under control, but I find it said that it always happens to them. You would think they could get more protection to where it wouldn't happen, ever.

Lizard Squad is running SONY right now. PSN step up your game. Though this is bad that they are doing this but still you could step up and make it harder for them to do this kind of stuff.

Why do this website always BASH SONY and when there problems with Xbox they don't post it for example the hacker group called Lizard squad has also been attacking Xbox servers it also been on news & Xbox website i can send links as proof and xbox live had issues for 1-2 days them self but of course this website NEVER posted that. Unfair to Bash Sony like that when Xbox live is easly as risk as SONY both Online servers are great and both can be easily hacked by hackers and Lizard squad group proved it. i Like how this website has very accurate news but i dont like how they bash sony with bad reparation news but they dont do it with xbox. i can prove it & i bet u all notic it too. BOTH systems are very good there no need to be posting all bad news on SONY
