Minecraft PS4 Fails Cert Testing, Possible Delay Inbound

4.7
With Minecraft PlayStation 4 being one of 3 titles due to be released this Month August 2014, many fans had high hopes for an early release when 4j Studios announced that they had submitted Minecraft to Sony for testing.

4j Studios had handed the game over to Sony cert testing early. Without any news for over a week 4j studios had taken to twitter today to announce as quoted "Sony found some issues we have to fix in their final test of #MinecraftPS4 :(We're fixing, but we need to go through the process again"

cert testing takes 7-14 working days with this being said the hopes for an August release is in the balance while Minecraft Xbox One & PS Vita are currently still being bug fixed.

Hopefully everything goes smoothly with the Xbox One testing. Really looking forward to this.

Well, this is a good thing. If it needs more testing, give it more testing, and it will come out a better all around game.

Polygon Not a surprise.
Most of the upcoming AAA titles have been pushed back

I would rather wait for a perfect game rather than get a crappy, unready game quicker.

Patience is a virtue.

I think at this point people are pretty much accustomed to waiting and waiting for games to launch.
