Destiny trailer explores Mars, fights Cabal

A strike team heads to Mars in the latest trailer for Destiny, showing snippets of combat and exploration on the overrun planet.

Though Destiny's opening cinematic begins on the surface of Mars, guardians must fight their way across Earth and the Moon before they can set their boots on the red planet and drive back its new inhabitants, the Cabal.

Destiny's first expansion, the Dark Below, will be released in December. It will take players deep beneath the surface of the moon, where a dark god "has risen an evil army in the depths of the Hellmouth, the home of the Hive enemy race."

The Dark Below and the House of Wolves expansion will be included in the Destiny Expansion Pass.

New screenshots released at Gamescom earlier this week showed off some of the fancy new armor guardians can collect as they advance through Destiny's PvE and PvP encounters.

The Destiny release date is September 9 on PS4, PS3, Xbox One and Xbox 360.

302 Great beta just wish it lasted a bit longer, never even made it to the moon. All in all I'm looking forward to this game.

If i was able to play the moon it might have made it better

Inq Cant wait for this i loved watching ganeplay

The Beta was good but there's a lot they have to do to make it better, like making the monsters easier to defeat its like battling chuck norris. The guns need to be balanced as well I seen level 5's carrying weapons with 50-60 damage...

MoCap The Moon map in the beta was crazy, I think ppl missed the underground part.

I didn't really explore it :(
Was too busy w/Iron banner.

Wish I stayed on the moon for longer.

Yeah I can understand after playing it the first time I was like, that can't be the entire thing, then I played it again by just exploring stuff and I find entrance, It's pretty scary cause the deeper I went, I was unable finding my way back up. xc
