BBC iPlayer Xbox One app will launch "by the end of this year"

In a blog post that covered the status of BBC iPlayer across different connected TVs, the corporations executive product manager Marcus Parnwell took the opportunity to address a few of the most frequently asked questions he receives. One of these questions read thusly: "You said Xbox One was coming soon - any update there?"

To which Parnwell replied: "Yes. I am happy to announce that we're aiming to launch new BBC iPlayer on Xbox One by the end of this year."

Wins My Opinion, I think this will be a Good Idea because Netflix never update their Films. and BBC have some good Shows on :)


Netflix is my least favorite due to that. Hulu and this are great

AR15 Apparently there are quite a few good shows and what not on BBC. Might have to check this out.

ImmortalGengar Only use BBC iPlayer for Master Chef! I hope they update the 360 version as it bugs out a lot!


Yea good old masterchef! i think ill be doing the same haha
i just used it for bluestone42!:) And yes, the xbox 360 version bugs me with all of its glitches.
