Xbox One camo controller and headset

Microsoft will release new 'Armed Forces' special editions of its Xbox One controller and wireless headset in US this October.

The controller and headset, priced at at $64.99 and $89.99 respectively, will come with a "modern camouflage pattern and military look" adorning their outer shell.

The controller will have a 'Metallic chrome' d-pad, but both units will otherwise be functionally identical to the regular offerings.

Microsoft is yet to set a specific day of release in October, and it's unclear how limited supplies may be.

This is really a cool thing, I hope they are giving some of the proceeds to Military charities for vets out there. I personally don't like the paint job that these controllers feature. I really wish they did them in the Marine digital camp, that would have sold me on it right there.

It's not that expensive. A normal controller costs like 50 dollars sometimes 60 why not pay 20 $ more?

You can take apart a controller with some tools and you can spray paint it very neatly. It looks cool you just need to invest time in it

The controller does in my opinion but I do not see the point in my paying more just because of the camo.
It is nothing too special imo.

The wire plugs in the CONTROLLER. Otherwise it wouldn't be a mic, would it?


Umm, the article says that the HEADSET is wireless. Which it is obviously not "wire"less.


the head set is wireless, wireless meaning you plug no wires from the headset into your xbox at all. only the wire into the controller, meaning you can walk around the house with your headset on and controller in hand.

if you had a wired headset you wouldn't be able to do that.
