DriveClub PS4 bundle announced for Europe

Sony Computer Entertainment Europe has announced an official DriveClub PS4 bundle.

Including a 500GB console, a DualShock 4 controller and a copy of Evolution Studios' upcoming racer, it will carry a recommended retail price of €439.99.

Sony advises interested consumers to check local retailers for domestic pricing - ShopTo says it will cost around £374.86.

Sony has also teased plans to provide a new look at the game's dynamic weather system later on Tuesday.

Following a lengthy delay, Sony recently confirmed the DriveClub release date as October 7. The racer will be offered as a full-price retail game, in addition to a cut-back DriveClub PS Plus Edition downloadable free of charge to subscribers.

I don't think this bundle will be worth it. I really don't understand why Sony and Microsoft always try to bundle their consoles with racing games, like the Forza bundle and countless others. I really don't like racing games anymore because they are the same thing over and over.

Bundles offer things at a better price usually. Like, with this you get the console, controller, and a game for a little more than the console costs. I think you also get a half price/free game when it is released if I read that correctly.

Bundles are usually cheaper than buying both separately. It's like a regular PS4 is say $400, (JUST AN EXAMPLE) and DriveClub is $60. That's $460 to buy them both separately. Now, with a bundle, they might have that price for the game and make it $430. The company is bound to make the extra money as the bundle comes with the game, but it's a bit cheaper. They sacrifice $30 for the purchase guarantee.

Kixa I'm not a big fan of racing games but in my opinion the destiny bundle looks better then this one.


I only play Forza 5 and still gets boring. Not really into racing aswell!
