Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare video spotlights facial animation

4.3
A new Call of Duty: Advanced Warfare developer diary has been released, showing off the game's animation and face capture technology.

Animations director Christopher Stone and art director Joe Salud discuss how the developer has done "whatever it took to make the game look as photo realistic as possible".

The Sledgehammer developed shooter is said to be set in a plausible future, specifically the year 2054, and stars Kevin Spacey as main antagonist Jonathan Irons.

The first Call of Duty Advanced Warfare gameplay footage was shown during Microsoft's E3 press conference on Monday. Another recent video showed off the game's 'relatable' futuristic technology.

The Call of Duty Advanced Warfare release date is November 4 on Xbox 360, Xbox One, PS3, PS4 and PC.

All Call of Duty Advanced Warfighter DLC will be released first on Xbox platforms.

Whey In my opinion this COD is too futuristic to enjoy. I stopped playing after mw3, even that got a little too futuristic with juganaut suits.
Modern warfare 2 was the best in my opinion, each to their own.

I agree, however this was n development 3 years ago so it could be a success. Lets hope so. I am looking forward to Treyarc's COD aswell!

It's just the same crap each year. I wish they would re-make a classic like MW2, same maps, guns everything. Just updated graphics and few new things + same mechanics so it has that old classic cod feel that MW2 had. I miss the good cods.

Black Ops II was the best of all time. They need to re-spring for something as balanced as it.

I think they should honestly remake some of the old COD games, for the next gen. that would be awesome!!!!

I was happy for all the call of duty's that came out since Call of Duty Modern Warfare but I think Modern Warfare 3 killed the series and it went all down hills from there, I have not watched one CODAW trailer and the community seems like it has little to no hype for it at all so I am not sure how sales will go, I how the rich or famous games will buy it just to brag or because but the vets or true people/players I think will not as much.

Mortar I am looking forward to Advanced Warfare, it seems that Sledgehammer are really striving to make this title top-notch. The visual aesthetics are really appealing. I can't wait for more videos of the gameplay.

Lets just hope that the gameplay remains consistent with the boasted visual quality.
