Titanfall best-selling Xbox One game, EA says

4.6
The game has been on sale for less than half of the console's lifespan, having hit Xbox One in March. Moore declined to specify how many copies the game, which is also available on PC and Xbox 360, has sold in an interview with Game Informer.

"Sales are always going to be inhibited and governed by the install base, but [Titanfall] is attaching incredibly well," Moore said. "Titanfall is the best selling title on Xbox One lifetime to date."

The online shooter from Respawn Entertainment launched with a special Xbox One bundle. It has been positioned as a keystone Microsoft title since Respawn revealed the game would be an Xbox console exclusive.

However, several reports have indicated that the franchise as a whole will not remain solely on Microsoft's systems.

A sequel to Titanfall is reportedly in development for PS4, and Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella has said the studio will make games for PS4, "just not the first Titanfall".

Titanfall's June update will add new game modes named Mark for Death and 2v2 Last Titan Standing to the game.

Its just boring now though, was good while it lasted

It was good at the start but it just got boring, there were very few maps I liked and very few guns also.

I wouldn't of thought titanfall would be the best selling.

I haven't played Titanfall in a month or so. It was a good game but I didn't get hooked on it like I did on other games such as BF4, Ghosts, and Watch Dogs.

Dorkus Yeah i guess it did sold a lot but there were also a lot of refunds as well lol.

Too bad they don't show average playtime on it too, I'd bet it'd be close to 10, maybe 15 hours before it went away in most households. Game was just too quick and too easy to master.

Yeah it may have sold a lot but it burnt out super fast.

It sold extremely well.
But it didn't last long.
Most people stopped playing after the first month.

You also gotta think about the games on Xbox One. There are not that many games on Xbox One.

I'm not really surprised. I have told numerous times, that the game is awesome.
