Dead Island: Epidemic spreads to Steam Early Access

Deep Silver's upcoming MOBA "Dead Island: Epidemic" is now open for gamers via Steam Early Access. The project is a online cooperative action game in which players as tasked to utilize crafted weapons and character skills all the while fending off hordes of angry angry zombies. Those who partake in the early access ploy will be given exclusive weapons and upgrades that will be unavailable post launch. Dead Island: Epidemic will be free to play when it launches later this year so in order to gain early access to the title gamers are required to purchase of the three premium packs.

This is a really cool game. I enjoyed and really liked the other Dead Islands but I have never played one that has been completely online before. It's really neat that it is also free. I am interested in this but I don't think I will be paying to play this early.

I should check this out soon, I loved the first one but Riptide did kinda suck, lol.

Dexs Dead island 1 was good but riptide sucked. The storyline for both games was terrible and boring.


I loved the first Dead Island, even though I recently got it from the XBL free games with gold. I have never played Riptide but the trailers and gameplay that I have seen for it looks pretty good.

A friend of mine gave me this a few days ago, haven't tried it out yet, however I was planning on playing it later on to see how it goes. I know it's early access so I will bare that in mind, hoping I like it as I liked the other Dead Island games, and truly hoping this will be the same.

I never tried riptide but it looks fun to play dead island 1 i really liked.
