Upcoming PS4 Update 1.70 to feature SHAREfactory and preloading

4.3
Within upcoming PS4 system update version 1.70 Sony is due to give gamers SHAREfactory; the tool is slated is allow gamers to easily customize their virtual exploits through rich multimedia editing tools then allow easy upload to the various social networks connected to their console. Another neat feature being added with this update is the ability for PS4 gamers to "preload" unreleased titles starting around four days prior to retail launch. Steam users have enjoyed this luxury for sometime but for some console gamers it may come as a welcomed addition, Sony is hoping this means more gamers can be among the first to jump into action on the various soon to arrive launch days.

I like that they did this, it will make it easier for gamers who like to record to be able to edit the clip right then and there

MVPapi I would love to have my videos on my profile, I don't want to share them to Facebook or Twitter!

Well the cool thing is that you will be able to take the videos directly off ur PS4 and onto your computer using a USB drive! :D

-Swift Why would PS even include HDCP in the first place.

I thought the exact same thing.

It was already in production before the cries of E3 last year followed by Sony's response to "get rid of it." Sony is at least now getting rid of the HDCP (or rendering it useless) which is a nice plus. This concept is the same as Microsoft's DRM policy, it still exists on the consoles, it's just been rendered useless.
OT, love the preload feature!
