Warface nets 25 million registered users

Crytek's free-to-play shooter, Warface, has garnered over 25 million registered users since it's launch in October last year. The title is currently in open beta testing on the Xbox 360 while it still remains a possibility that the F2P shooter heads to the PS3. PC gamers can download the game via Crytek's GFACE platform and Xbox 360 players can simply download it via their dashboard IF they are gold subscribers.

It is a fantastic achievement for our franchise and for our teams, and we’d like to thank Warface players everywhere for their support.

I think this was a pretty good game though. And as the comment below, it's not just some COD ripoff that does the same thing over and over.

I think it will be like cod, but it looks kinda like battlefield.


This game is a better version of Call of Duty and has a mixture of Battlefield. This is my opinion.

It is. I really liked it. but the servers were having problems when I tried it


I will have to try and pick the game up then.

that only bad part is they are still having network problems on the xbox 360 though


I just played the game last night... I didn't find any network issues.

My friends have played the beta and say that it is nothing more than a CoD remake, and buggy and glitchy. (Yes, I understand betas are buggy and gltichy)
