Titanfall's upcoming changes to address balance

Respawn has let the community know details about an upcoming series of changes to Titanfall's matchmaking system in a effort to address a "lack of variety" in matches. The studio intends to reinforce Titanfall's "behind-the-scenes matchmaking algorithms" with these changes, the hope that it will result is teams based on skill levels rather than a quick and dirty composition.

Searching for teammates and opponents will now sometimes take more time to look for players that are a good skill level match rather than purely prioritizing speed over quality. This will give us more time to build better teams and create closer games that are worth staying in for a longer period of time.

Rather than playing against the same opponents over and over, the game will periodically split the teams apart and search for new opponents for each team. This means if one team is dominating, we will update the skill for all of the players and then find each team a better suited match for the next round.

Did you lose to a really great team? We'll make them disappear and replace them with a new opposing team - and they will have no idea that you just got your butts kicked. This should end some of the frustration with playing for extended periods when you're having an off night.Respawn

-Tupac Im glad they have done fixes.


They released this game way earlier than it should have been. In my opinion, gamers would rather wait for a perfect game than to go ahead and get an un-finished game.


They rushed it, yes. They could have done so much better.


It was also over-hyped too.

Yea i was so tired of going on losing streaks.

How can you tell me the original mw2 team doesn't care about their game. They were making mw2 updates long long after it came out.



Well we will see in about a year if they are just as dedicated. I doubt they will be after a couple years. BO2 is still putting personalization packs out I believe. I wish they would do a zombies map pack.


BO2 has to be one of my favorite CODs to play legit. It was very consistent and in my opinion the best for trickshotting and sniping behind mw2. I can't wait to see if Treyarch will add more zombies maps.


I agree, I do like BO2 sniping and zombies.

Zombies to me is the best part of treyarch CoD's.
