Winocm reveals triple booting iPad2

Infamous iOS hacker Winocm has appeared to modified a iPad 2 in order to triple boot iOS 5, iOS 6, and iOS 7 simultaneously. According to Winocm his process of triple booting on his iPad 2 takes just over two minutes to achieve, in his video he goes on to comment that he did not use iTunes or Evasi0n tool. More details have not been given about a possible release or even additional information regarding the breakthrough has been posted by Winocm yet.

Third_Eye Are there really people waiting for a release? Why would you need 3 different versions of iOS booted at the same time?


Thats exactly what I was thinking. Its not like I would ever have the need to switch through the 3 versions as im using the Ipad.


This actually opens up so many more possibilities, kinda like a dual/triple nand on a jtag.

It's signifying that you can boot into many things at once

Ex: IOS 7, Android Jellybean, and Linux

There may be no reason for needing 3 different IOS versions on a single iPad but one might use the method he made to go back to a previous version of IOS since IOS 7 is garbage.
