Xbox One controller working on PC due to modder

A tinkerer, Lucas Assis, has developed a tool and posted a video detailing how he was able to enable a Xbox One controller to function properly on a PC. Lucas has stated that he intends to make a Mac and Linux version available sometime in the future. This solution should only be seen as a stopgap until Microsoft officially provides drivers for the Xbox One controller on PC.

Anyone keen on trying the tool out will need to download this RAR file and follow the steps shown in the video.

It works, and it works great, but it's not really that easy to install. It involves installing another two programs, both which are open-source and adware free.Lucas Assis

Official support from Microsoft for the Xbox One controller on PC is slated to be released sometime in 2014.

Sanctorum This is so pointless tbh. I don't understand why PC gamers would want to use a controller. Mouse and keyboard is the way forward IMO.


This may be the case. But for people who have played with a controller for 5-6 years, moving to Keyboard and Mouse is a hard task


I couldnt have said this any better myself. Thats what I did and I worked my way into the keyboard.

it was free for me umm, lol?


Maybe he was taking about the wireless receiver that was needed to connect the wireless controllers to a PC

Kopperberg I don't like the look of this controller


Basically a 360 controller but the guide button is on the top of the controller.


aparently they are abit bulkier ?
