Early Titanfall players with legit copies won't be banned

Respawn Entertainment doesn't intend to ban Titanfall users playing legitimately purchased copies of the game ahead of its official release.

Those with early copies of the game will be able to get a head start building up their Generation rank, although Respawn co-founder Vince Zampella says there may be some service downtime over the coming days.

Publisher EA has confirmed a PC and Xbox One Titanfall release date of March 11, 2014 in North America and March 13 in Europe. The Xbox 360 version, which is being handled by Bluepoint Games, was recently delayed until March 25 in the US and March 28 in Europe.

Earlier this week, EA announced a Titanfall DLC season pass. It will provide access to three post-launch add-on packs, each of which will contain new maps and further, yet to be determined content.

Axe Good to hear. The only problem is how do you get a legit copy? You probably have to pay a ton extra for one if you can find one.


Mom and pop shops and small video game retailers will usually sell copies early. I have heard of Kmart selling copies early aswell


Small shops do it all the time. When word gets around, they can make a little extra money. Nothing wrong really, yes they are breaking the rules but no one gets hurt.


Do they sell it on gamestop or Eb Games? cause if they do i might get one early.

That's cool that they're doing that, kind of stupid how they banned people in COD if you had a legit copy and played the game early so i give the dev's of titan fall props for doing this.
