Xbox One Media Remote officially revealed for March launch

4.1
The remote will roll out in early March for $24.99 according to Major Nelson.

The device itself was officially revealed by Microsoft's Major Nelson via his blog at this address.

The device looks just like the one recently leaked via a Amazon Canada listing. All of the small remote's buttons glow in the dark, a true perk for gamers who dislike their friendly neighborhood lamp. It is complete with a dedicated back with OneGuide buttons while it is able to control TV and receive power and volume from the Kinect.

Aftercast To be honest it should just come with the console lol..

That's what i was thinking, They are just doing this for even more money, I don't think many people are going to be buying this though as there are plenty of other ways of controlling your console.

They just want you to spend more money, Microsoft is one of the greediest companies out there.

No need for this to be honest there are plenty of ways to "control" your console.

Almost $30 for flipping remote? Are you serious? Its a GAMING unit, not everything but.

Why can't they just leave it at a gaming console? They keep adding things to this console and soon it is going to destroy the console.

this is dumb. why do they keep adding more and more things

A remote is unnecessary for this. The controller is fine.

Why do I need a remote? I already have one for my TV that works perfectly fine with my Xbox One

A remote would be nice for when I play music wile playing games, which accrue often, although this price is way high priced.
