Skype text chat syncing improvements now live

In November Skype's product manager Jeff Kunins announced that his team was working on actually have your skype chats sync up correctly between all supported platforms. It was revealed in a generalized blog post that this has been enacted during a overall update to the service itself.

You can scroll back on your mobile phone to see the conversation you had on your laptop just as easily as the chat you had with your best friend on your smartphone about a recipe.Official Skype Blog

The skype team states they are currently workings to improve key aspects of the program itself including load time, start up, and resume times. They also made a note of saying that their changes should reflect positively on battery usage on mobile devices.

I use it allot on pc because most people prefer it over teamspeak.

This should have been the case from the beginning. It was tiring when trying to read anything I posted with my laptop on my phone in the correct order.
