Flappy Bird has stopped flapping

4.3
Flappy Bird has officially stopped flapping, it has been removed from both the Apple and Play stores when it appears the developer, Dong Nguyen, has a nervous breakdown over it's success claiming it was "ruining his life".

It is assumed that Dong will NOT be fulfilling his claim of porting Flappy Bird to Windows Phones.

Prior to Dong ceasing his Twitter presence he stated that the attention he had received stemming from his game coupled with the "stress of making $50k a day" were among the reasons he had pulled the game.

How do those who played Flappy Birds feel about this entire ordeal?

-Dynamic Lol he can't take the fame off the game ? well, why do you bot your own game to get it big then Dong ?

no one bot their own game. the game got viral because it was simple and addicting, and the famous you tubers started picking it up. do your research.

I wouldn't blame him, he was getting a ton of death threats and a lot for negativity on his twitter. I kind of feel bad for him but he did end up making 50K a day so that's good.

I would take the happiness route too. No point in making money and being depressed.

He could of just left his twitter or ignored the death threats.

ExoticWolfs He did the right thing by taking the game down. Yeah he was getting rich off of it, but people were going crazy over it. A man killed his brother for beating his high score.... I think he did the right thing.

I've never heard about that, but this is a kind of game that causes huge stress and could cause some terrible frustration over.
