Flappy Bird has stopped flapping

4.3
Flappy Bird has officially stopped flapping, it has been removed from both the Apple and Play stores when it appears the developer, Dong Nguyen, has a nervous breakdown over it's success claiming it was "ruining his life".

It is assumed that Dong will NOT be fulfilling his claim of porting Flappy Bird to Windows Phones.

Prior to Dong ceasing his Twitter presence he stated that the attention he had received stemming from his game coupled with the "stress of making $50k a day" were among the reasons he had pulled the game.

How do those who played Flappy Birds feel about this entire ordeal?

This doesn't really bother me, as I never liked the game to begin with. I thought it was just so boring, but that could've been just me.

... Really you are saying that making 50k a day is ruining your life? That is the worst excuse ever

Such a successful game as well..... I would of just kept it up and ignored the hate along with letting the income keep coming in, as that can be put into charities if he didnt want it!

"stress of making $50k a day," way to just brag about it to our faces...

Hoop I don't see why people would said death threats over a free game, either way i don't really mind its gone.

Did people actually send him death threats about the game? Thats just plain stupid. As you said who would get so mad that they need to send death threats to a game creator over the internet.

Qwikscoper He had to take the game down because several companies were going to sue him for obvious reasons. Does Flappy Bird remind you of Super Mario at all? Either take the game down or face lawsuit and he chose to take the game down.

Yes, it does remind me of Mario hahah :) Anyways, the game can still be found on the web (gaming websites).

Don't really care, it was his call. And anyone who still wanted it can get it from other sources as well.
