Far Cry: Classic slated for US release

Far Cry: Classic is a remake of the first game in the series that is slated for launch in the U.S. on the Xbox 360/PS3 on February 11 for $9.99.

The release of this specific title has been a bit of a snafu given that in the EU region it was announced as part of a collection package that included Far Cry 1/2/3 and Blood Dragon but in the US the same package was missing Classic and PS3 only.

I will be getting this, even though i've never played any of the Far Cry series. Does anyone know if it will have multiplayer?

Interesting, in my experience the FOV on this series made me motion sick and gave me bad migraines. I might buy this cause the games are so much fun but I am not sure yet...

Not really, they aren't a yearly release title and are a mostly single player only game. I hadn't really played any till 3 but heard some about how beautiful 2 was.

Remakes are great for reminiscing or playing on your newer systems, but companies are milking the life out of them.
