Xbox One: first major system update due March – rumour

Xbox One is tipped to get a significant system update that will address several Xbox Live and interface issues in March, according to an alleged insider. It’s the same update discussed by Microsoft’s Marc Whitten earlier this month.

It comes from the same tipster who dated Forza Horizon 2 for September, Crackdown 3 for 2016 and Halo 2: Anniversary for November 11. Hit the links for details on each game.

The tipster posted his claims on NeoGAF initially, but The Verge has since claimed to have verified the update’s March release.

Yop cool, congratulations cant wait to see what it brings.

It really not that exciting. The only things they are doing is adding native Twitch streaming support, fixing parties and friends locations/ lists. I really hope they do something more about the matchmaking services but I haven't heard anything about it.

The only thing to worry about is the size of the update. As Microsoft are slapping "Major" to the title, I am worried as to how large it will be as when I eventually upgrade to the Xbox One myself, I will be having to deal with it myself. Terrible news when I download 1gb in around 5 hours.
