SCEE has announced it will be bringing PlayStation Network down for maintenance on Monday, January 27 from 5.30pm to 11.30pm GMT. The firm expects the downtime to last approximately six hours. If you’ve signed in to PSN anytime before January 20, you will still be able to play games online and access apps. The PlayStation Store, PlayStation Home and Account Management will not be available during this time. The service will be brought down in North America as well from 12:30 PM to 6:30 PM EST.

Why because they do maintenance? That's a good thing. Microsoft is also having trouble with people signing into their accounts on Xbox One so think before you talk.

I was just going to say I like that they say something about it unlike Xbox and just shut it down.

They may not give a warning but it is very rare when they are offline over an hour.

No issues, nothing. I don't know what the point is but I hope they get it done to their ETA rather than making us wait 20 hours.
