Code redemption down on PlayStation Network

Manage to pick up a PlayStation 4 on Black Friday, or for the system's launch in Europe? Got some codes you need to redeem? Not so fast. Sony has ceased code redemption on the PlayStation Network, meaning game vouchers, money cards and the like are currently as useful as pretty words on pretty paper.

Sony tweeted the news via its PlayStation Twitter account, linking to a post on the PlayStation Blog. The post notes that online play and other features of the network are still up and running, and claims an update will be provided "soon."

Like at all.

Although, it was just recently fixed the other day.

They still haven't managed to get some of their biggest problems fixed.
I'm almost worried for Sony at how long this is taking.

I think the main issues will be gone by Christmas.
There will be smaller bugs through the entire lifespan of the console.


I'm hoping that something along these lines happen. As long as the large issues are fixed up in the next couple of months i shouldn't have any problems with it


Sony is shutting down PSN for a bit to fix the problems.
Hopefully the majority of them will be gone.

GTAModdz Lol they need to fix all there Problems Lol Team xbox there was only 1 Problems xbox that was the disk drive and the Ps4 its Lots More issues like PS4 Not even turning on Loland Code issues and Networks Problems like allways ahahah

Xbox has problems called "players" so even when the network works perfectly the people using it ruin almost every game on there... not missing the constant rage disconnections and abusive pm's and crying kids on my PS4 tbh.

I got on PS4 once and the entire lobby was full of people have a screaming argument.

Exactly why I could wait until the Xbox One goes down in price.


Unless Microsoft can find a cheaper way to make the console, it will not be going down in price anytime soon.


I don't think it will go down in price but there will be some good deals like xbox one and cod ghost's and forza for $400 or something ? o.0


They couldn't go below what it cost to make the console or else they would be taking a loss.
Companies don't take losses like that.
