PlayStation 4's 1.51 firmware update is live

The PlayStation 4's second firmware update is live and ready to download now, and it looks to be much less significant than the Day 1 update.

According to the PS Blog it includes that old (next-gen) chestnut of improved system software stability, as well as minor touch-ups to the user interface that include "clearly indicating when a user downloads a game and a game patch at the same time."

I expect that they're now just fine tuning the day one patch. Does anybody know if their chat is working %100? I've got a friend who said the audio was a little patchy.

Where are you getting these false information?
1 FULL percent, which is over 50 THOUSAND consoles were defective, some 20 THOUSAND were bricked.

I'm just hoping that the majority of issues on both consoles are resolved in a timely manner. I'm pretty sure that Sony said 1% of PS4's are having issues and not 0.1%

Gossip Already adding updates? It just came out. It should be perfect for launch.

1. The Xbox One has a day one update intended to fix UI problems (as well as removing DRM)

2. Just about every game that you buy will require a patch before you play for hte first time.

But judging by this precedent, everything should be ready to go for launch!!
