GTA Online stimulus package rollout begins

Rockstar Games has started rolling out its 'stimulus package' to Grand Theft Auto Online players.

The stimulus package was introduced as a means of compensation for the game's troubled launch period, which saw players struggling to connect and losing save data.

"Attention all Grand Theft Auto Online players," reads an announcement on the Rockstar website. "We have begun the Stimulus Package direct deposit into each of your in-game bank accounts. This GTA$500,000 deposit applies to all GTA Online players in the month of October 2013.

"We expect that it will take up to 2 full days for the Stimulus Package to be fully delivered to the entire player base from October 2013, so please be patient if you do not see it appearing in your in-game bank account just yet. We will update this post on Friday when we expect all the GTA$ Stimulus Package deposits to have been completed."

The first GTA Online DLC, the Beach Bum Pack, will be downloadable for free later this month.

It will introduce new beach themed vehicles and fresh weaponry that will be useable in both GTA Online and Grand Theft Auto 5.

The DLC pack will also add new customisation options for GTA Online characters and fresh multiplayer jobs to play across Gang Attacks, Survivals, Last Team Standings, Parachutes, Deathmatches and Races.

Sphinq I think the DLC is rather pointless because everyone can buy everything straight off due to exploits and everyone having 20 million and stuff.


I think it comes as more as a benefit to members who have not been exploiting the glitches and been playing legitimately


Exactly.
Rockstar already said they cannot do anything about all the money people cheated to get.
This is almost the least they could do.

Pretty much the same case with me, i got bored and just... stopped playing all together after a while. I'll likely come back for a bit when heists are released though


I really hope they release heists soon. There really is no way to make a lot of cash fast without glitches/exploits unless you want to race all day.


They finally released Heists and it is rather good.
Although, around launch time for that DLC, a content creator was leaked.

i honestly played the story mode and a few hours of online play and havent touched it in almost 2 weeks.

KAQ This game was really good when it first came out will all the hype and now not many people feel its still good with all the disappointment :/


There was way too much hype in my opinion.

Yes the game is good, but not what everyone made it out to be. I think the main reason for this was due to the long await of GTA V, being 5 years in development.
