Forza Motorsport 5 'Car Pass' to cost $49.99

Microsoft has confirmed that the Forza Motorsport 5 'Car Pass' DLC bundle offering will cost $49.99.

The platform holder has also confirmed today that the first of the DLC packs, the 'LaFerrari Car Pack', will be released on November 22 alongside the game and the Xbox One.

As the firm recently announced, Forza 5 will be supplemented with six post-launch DLC packs offering ten cars each, which can be purchased in advance with the Forza 5 Car Pass.


The 'LaFerrari Car Pack', as the title suggests, will include the new $1.2 million LaFerrari hypercar hybrid (pictured above), along with nine other cars which will be confirmed at a later date, according to the firm.

The $50 Car Pass represents an 18 percent discount over buying each pack individually, says MS.

Forza 5 will launch alongside the Xbox One on November 22. It is among 23 launch titles confirmed for the next-gen console.

Millions of people play this game. This game is more popular than Grand turismo.

You're basically buying the game twice.
They should make a bundle for $80 that would include the game and the car pass for people who didn't want to spend $120 on the same game.

Forza Motorsport is one of the most popular racing games on Xbox. I wouldn't call it unpopular at all

I'm guessing this is around 20-30 GBP
But I am always disappointed at Turn10. As a huge Forza fan, I always buy the limited edition versions of Forza. So for paying extra, it should also include the season pass. But I'm not going to cancel my pre-order though...
