The official Titanfall Twitter account has served up a new screenshot, as well as the promise of a new announcement later this week.

The Twitter account promises a "special announcement" tomorrow, along with the text "Be the First to Fall into Titanfall".

Titanfall is among the most anticipated next-gen titles. Respawn hopes to "expand the boundaries" of what online multiplayer is capable of, according to producer Drew McCoy.

The studio also hopes Titanfall will encourage other major studios to focus on new IP.

Titanfall will release in 2014 for Xbox One and PC.
