Battlefield 4 TV ad shows off vehicular combat

With a new TV ad, EA and DICE appear keen to demonstrate what separates Battlefield from Activision's Call of Duty as the two FPS franchises prepare to lock horns this Christmas.

EA has shared a full-length version of the TV at that's airing in the run up to BF4's release later this month, showing off the game's iconic vehicular combat and environmental destruction.

EA has confirmed a Battlefield 4 release date of October 29 in the US and November 1 in the UK on current gen consoles and PC. Xbox One and PS4 versions will be console launch titles later in November.

The final game will ship with seven multiplayer modes playable on ten maps.

Dreams never played battlefield how is it? i might end up going with this instead of cod this time


I most likely will be doing the same, BF4 looks amazing and is way more inivative than CoD. Don't get me wrong CoD is a good series, it's just not the same as it was 4 to 5 years ago :/


I would try it at friends house or something, because personally I don't really like battlefield and will be staying with cod and trying titanfall.


Battlefield takes time to get used to after playing cod for so long not just a few games at a friends house, it took me a few months from getting BF3 to get used to it properly haven't played cod multiplayer since. cant wait for BF4.

I didn't enjoy how the beta felt myself, however I believe that's due to it not having the entire package available to download. The BF3 beta felt terrible in regards to how it was played, but when it came out it felt 'normal'.

This is an area that not many developers have gone into in a lot of detail from the AD the game looks awesome but the BETA was really good IMO and I think it will give a good run for it's money for the game of the year awards.
