GTA Online patch out 'as soon as tomorrow', says Rockstar

Rockstar aims to release a title update for GTA Online tomorrow, October 4, the developer has said.

In the latest update on the ongoing connection issues affecting the online portion of GTA V, Rockstar confirmed it has a patch in the works for both Xbox 360 and PS3.

"We're currently working on a title update for both PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 to address commonly reported issues with GTA Online," said Rockstar.

"We hope to have it out for download as soon as tomorrow," it added.

GTA Online's microtransaction features have been disabled temporarily as part of Rockstar's effort to tackle the widespread server issues.

The developer has said it is "working around the clock" to address the issues affecting GTA Online, after having warned players before launch that the service would likely suffer the natural teething problems of an online service of such scale.

I didn't know about the walking under water glitch till I drove my car into ocean and could run back to shore along the bottom of the ocean.

Hopefully this update will fix a lot of the bugs.

The worst one is u cant swim its a glitch all u do is sink to the bottom and u can walk around the ocean floor

Well it was pretty urgent so i'm not too surprised myself. There are various errors causing problems for many people

Well as long as they continue to add more servers that's cool. So far R* has been amazing at listening and keeping the community informed I really don't see why people have to take it personal when a save won't load, we all knew there would be issues to begin with.
