Warcraft movie comes to theaters December 18, 2015

Warcraft is due in theaters on December 18, 2015, from Legendary and Universal Pictures, the official World of Warcraft account tweeted today.

The film is based on Blizzard's longstanding Warcraft universe, directed by Duncan Jones. Jones is the director of Moon and Source Code, and he happens to be David Bowie's son. Take that one to trivia night, folks.

Warcraft originally had Sam Raimi as director, but he bailed to take on Oz: The Great and Powerful. The project is sticking with a script by Charles Leavitt, the writer of Blood Diamond and K-PAX. Filming begins January 13, 2014.

9/10 of the idiotic comments on this are from people who haven't played a single second of WoW, or even know anything about it.

Shut up.

Gossip Actually might be interesting. I wonder if its going to be cartoony or realistic.

I don't like it to be honest, they should make movies out of other games ;D

There is only a few games that actually have good enough story behind it to make a movie of it, this being one of them.
