Half-Life 3 trademark filed

A trademark application for Half-Life 3 has been filed in Europe with the Office for Harmonization in the Internal Market.

It lists the Half-Life 3 trademark as being owned by Valve Corporation and was filed by the patent and trademark firm Casalonga & Associés on September 29.

It covers “computer game software,” “downloadable computer game software via a global computer network and wireless devices” and other goods and services, according to Polygon via NeoGAF.

A trademark has yet to be filed with the USPTO.

If Valve confirms this is more than just protecting it’s IP, surely, the Internet will explode.

Amp- From what I have seen, Half Life is amazing. I will have to try.


I've heard so many good things about it.


I played the whole second one I believe it was on Steam and my goodness not only is the game itself amazing but so are all the mods available for it.

Its not confirmed as of yet although I am not sure why they do this earlier other than they are working on it.


I think filing a trademark is a good confirmation that the game will enter development soon. Trademark's are not cheap and wouldn't go without warrent.

I remember my dad playing Half life on our home PC back when I was around 6 years old. It scared the hell out of me and now i'm playing it on my PC. Very good game and excited for another edition of the game.

Half Life is one of the internet's favorite games because, well, its just that good. The half life series is one of the best game series's in existence and I recommend you try it out as soon as possible!
